7 Kashmir services candidates sponsored by ZFI successful

New Delhi: Seven candidates from Kashmir who were trained by Zakat Foundation of India (ZFI) for civil services have been declared successful in the final interview of Kashmir Allied Services 2009. This was stated by ZFI chairman, Dr. Syed Zafar Mahmood in Delhi on 16 February.

He said that these candidates viz Shoaib Noor, Ashfaq Pundit, Shamsul Haq, Wasim Malik, Arshad Khan, Dr. Syed Abid and Rashid Shah had been preparing for civil services under ZFI for the past two years. He further said that the result of their prelim is yet to be announced but side by side they were also preparing for State’s Allied Services. He said on this occasion that together with encouragement young generation of our nation also needs proper guidance and with this our youngmen/students can occupy higher and higher positions.

Meanwhile, the successful candidates in a joint letter to him (Dr. Zafar Mahmood) while profusely thanking him for enabling them to achieve success assured all possible help on their part and cooperation to ZFI for its sincere efforts for the advancement of Muslim youths.
