Saudi Cultural Attaché in Madrasatul Islah, Azamgarh


Azamgarh: The Saudi Cultural Attache Dr Ibrahim Al-Batshan visited Madrasatul Islah at Saraimir, Azamgarh (UP) on 28 February along with a delegation consisting of Dr Ahmad Abdul Qadir Al-Shazli, dean of the Faculty of Arts, Manufia University (Egypt), Dr Yusri Zaidan of Cairo university, Dr Majid Qazi, associate professor at Jamia Millia Islamia, Dr Rizwanur Rehman, assistant professor at JNU, and Dr Rahmat Ali, professor at Mauritius University.

The delegation visited classrooms, central library and the students library. They also looked at manuscripts and the Qur’anic footnotes left by Maulana Farahi. After that a reception was held in their honor. Speaking on the occasion, they said that their cherished desire to visit this famous institution was fulfilled and they found it better than what they had heard about it.
