Ajit Singh to launch new political front

Ahead of 2012 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections Ajit Singh is trying to forge an alliance with smaller political parties of Uttar Pradesh to increase his tally in the state and at the centre. For this he has formed an alliance with various political parties like, Peace Party, Indian Justice Party, Bharatiya Samaj Party, Janawadi Party, Ittehad-e-Millat Council and Bharatiya Lokhit Party. The new political front is likely to contest all assembly seats and he has left space for other political parties to join the alliance with the exception of BSP and BJP. Ajit Singh said that people want a change from the present Mayawati government. RLD has 10 MLAs and one MLC,. five MPs in the Lok Sabha and one in the Rajya Sabha. The party has also got a presence in Zila panchayat and Gram panchayat. Peace Party President Ayub said that after being a part of this alliance with RLD the new front will become stronger and would be able to provide an alternative to the people of Uttar Pradesh.
