Jailers booked for torturing inmates

Two officials of Rohini jail staff have been booked for allegedly torturing a prisoner. On the complaint made by Amit Kumar Shukla, who is a murder suspect, against superintendent and assistant superintendent of Rohini Jail for harassing, a case has been registered at the Delhi Police’s crime branch. According to a jail official “ Shukla has become a terror in the jail. He has beaten up prisoners and damaged CCTV cameras. He has duped the judiciary by using a lemon and a coin to create those scars. He is giving us a hard time and has been placed in the high security jail number 4. The court has given us permission to use fetters to stop him from creating trouble inside the jail,”
