Beware: Terrorists on the prowl

New Delhi: The IB, for the first time, has warned general public about the possibility of a 26/1 kind of attack on Delhi and Mumbai. Releasing photographs of three LeT militants who are suspected of having entered Delhi for executing a major offensive, the police has issued a high alert notice. Posters with photographs of Bilal Ahmad Bagh, Ibrahim Sheikh and Shahjahan (Shahzaid Malik), who were spotted in a busy locality, have been pasted on city walls. This assumes significane in wake of one alleged “commander” already arrested recently – Abdullah Inquilabi. Locations identified in Delhi are shopping complex Palika Bazar. the World Trade Fair where people are reaching in thousands has been well covered by the security staff and constant vigil is being maintained. ID cards are also thoroughly scrutinised. Mumbai police has also been provided with the necessary inputs i.e. specific targets. These inputs have been updated in wake of a reported meeting of the militants held a month ago where plans for such attacks were finalised.
