Jamia Hamdard to start vaccines course

Jamia Hamdard is going to introduce a vaccine course from July this year. Vaccine course is going to be the first of its kind in India. The university is also likely to get assistance from abroad. Students from science background can only take this one year PG Diploma course.

G N Qazi, vice chancellor of Hamdard University said that the concept of vaccine is on the rise particularly in India and Africa but still a lot more is required to be done in this area. Even in India there is scope in this field and not many are aware of vaccinology course. Institutes engaged in providing knowledge of vaccines are even limited in Europe. The other problem is that companies hardly get enough students to carry forward this process.
