Delhi Police nabs a suspected terrorist

New Delhi: Delhi police has claimed that it has arrested a Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Muhammad Abdullah Iqbal, a Pakistani, leading to recovery of huge cache of arms and explosives. Additional police superintendent (Special Cell) Shivesh Singh disclosed that the arrested suspect was active as a divisional commander in the Rajauri Shopiyan sector. He was arrested on 14 November near Rose Garden alongwith a colleague. He had a Chinese pistol and three cartridges. During interrogation he divulged that a huge cache of arms and explosives was dumped in a cave in Rajauri. Jammu Kashmir police raided the place and recovered four magazines of AK-56, 120 bullets, one had grenade, a diary and other documents. According to police he was involved in terror acts for the last ten years. He is accused of killing military and para-military officers.
