Protest in Mumbai to seek justice for blast accused

Malegaon: Intensifying its efforts to demand justice for the Muslim accused who are in jail since 2006, the Kul Jamaati Tanzeem of Malegaon sat on a day-long dharna on March 5 at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. The dharna was supported by dozens of NGOs from all across the state including Mumbai. Established in 2006, the Kul Jamaati Tanzeem is seeking justice for the Muslim youths who are blamed of killing Muslims by conspiring the series of blasts that struck the Muslim dominated textile town on September 08 in 2006. Tanzeem intensified its demands after the confessional statement of Swami Aseemanand - one of the accused arrested in various blast cases, said, the Muslim youths arrested in 2006 Malegaon blast are innocent.
