NIA to investigate Mehrauli blast

The Delhi Police wants the NIA to investigate Mehrauli blast that killed two people on 27 September, 2008. The blast took place barely two weeks after the 13 September serial bomb blasts in 2008. Delhi police, after having failed to find any clue, has now approached the NIA to investigate on the lines of the involvement of right wing fundamentalists behind the mysterious bomb blasts. According to Delhi Police, "We have decided to approach the NIA to investigate the case. As we could not establish any motive or catch any person in the case, we will explore this angle as well." 14 such mysterious explosions had taken place in and around Hauz Khas, Malviya Nagar and Mehrauli, but the police is still clueless in all these cases.
