Centenary celebration of Khatme Nubbuwat Movement

Ludhiana: Protection of Khatme Nubuwwat (finality of prophethood) movement, which was started by ulama of Punjab in 1911, will be completing a century this year. A great convention at the first centenary celebration will be held in Ludhiana, Punjab.

This was announced in a press conference on 5 March by Ahrar leader and Punjab Shahi Imam Maulana Habiburrehman Sani Ludhianvi after a decision was taken in a meeting attended by Ahrar leaders, ulama, masjid imams and religious leaders from all cities and towns of Punjab. Addressing the press conference, president of Ahrar and the shahi imam of Punjab announced that the anniversary convention will be a historic event and it will be preceded by 101 public meetings and conferences in all cities and towns of Punjab. According to eye witnesses, about five hundred ulama, masajid imams and religious leaders from all over Punjab were present in the meeting.

The convener of the said convention, Mohammad Usman Rehmani Ludhianwi, said that the convention would be addressed by the ulama of all Muslim schools of thought and attended by at least one and a half million believers.
