Sixth Seminar On Sir Syed

Aligarh: Sir Syed made a one-point agenda of his life: the emancipation of his community and he devoted all his life for this cause. This legacy is being carried forward by Sir Syed Awareness Forum (SAF), said Brig (Retd) Syed Ahmad Ali, Pro Vice Chancellor, AMU, who was speaking at a seminar on "Sir Syed Ahmad Khan: Life, Achievements, Ideas and Revelance & Felicitation Function" at the Exhibition Ground here. He said that whatever you do, you should do it with perfection and should take pride in it. He also said that you should fix a target for life and must go after the target. Brig. Ali appreciated the tireless efforts of Dr. Shakeel Samdani and his forum and said that the activities of Dr. Samdani are not confined to only Aligarh but are spread all over the country. The SAF award 2014 for medicine was offered to Prof Urooj Rabbani of the  Dept of Cardiology. Founder of SAF Dr. Shakeel Samdani said that the best tribute to Sir Syed Ahmad Khan is to remember and highlight his contribution towards society. He not only spread the message of education but also spread the message of tolerance, kind-heartedness and secularism in India.
