• Kandhamal riots: 18 convicted

    Phulbani (Orissa): Two fast track courts decided eight cases in Kandhamal riots awarding different kinds of punishments. In all 18 persons were sentenced for various terms alongwith fines. The riots cases pertain to 2007-2008 period.
