Syedna in Dubai

Dr Syedna Mohammed BurhanuddinDubai: Bohra leader Dr Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin delivered the annual Moharram sermons at al-Masjid al-Burhani here at Al- Ghusais, Dubai this year on 24 February. Over 35,000 Dawoodi Bohra Muslims from across 40 nations from America, Europe, East Africa, Gulf, Sub-continent, Far East and Australia, including 8,000 community members residing in the U.A.E. attended and listened to Syedna.

Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin emphasized that Islam means peace and the message of Moharram is the message of universal peace. "I pray to Allah to bestow his choicest blessings and benedictions upon all Muslims and may peace and harmony prevail amongst all humanity...” said Syedna. He urged his followers to remain committed to Islam and the Shariat and respect human values and work for common welfare and well being of fellow citizens. Syedna’s nine-day 'Majaalis ul Waaz' concluded on 1 March. ¤
