Communal riots feared in U.P. before the elections
Saharanpur: The national general secretary of BSP, Naseemuddin Siddiqui, has said, “Riots do not occur by themselves but are engineered”. Expressing fear of riots in U.P., he alleged that the BJP in its bid to wrest power and Samajwadi Party to keep power may engineer riots in the state, to which the people should beware. The BSP general secretary, addressing a rally at Gaggalheri here claimed that no communal riot took place during Mayavati tenure although she took the reins of the state four times. He blamed the state government for Muzaffarnagar riots. He also alleged that there is a secret deal between the BJP and Samajwadi Party and said if Muslims could be prudent and vote for the BSP, U.P. would have a BSP government in future. Criticising PM Modi, he said that by forcing the poor and the labour class to stand in queues, the PM has filled the coffers of industrialists like Ambani and Adani.
